SHREVEPORT — A Caddo Parish Correctional Center inmate who was facing murder charges ran from deputies overnight, with authorities still searching for him.
Tre'Veon Jackson, 24, took off running around 10 p.m. Jackson was outside the hospital on Kings Highway in Shreveport as a deputy was moving to put him into a transport van.
The deputy then chased Jackson on foot but later lost him.
Jackson was last seen in a white shirt, green shorts and white shoes. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
