Benny's haunted carwash returns to Siegen Lane, raises money for OLOL Children's Hospital

BATON ROUGE — Scores of drivers rolled into the Benny's Carwash on Siegen Lane Friday evening as the business launched its sixth annual Haunted Carwash.
Spooky, costumed employees greeted motorists before sending vehicles through a fright-filled wash tunnel, transforming a routine chore into a Halloween thrill ride.
All proceeds from the event benefit Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital. Over the past six years, the annual fundraiser has generated more than $200,000 to support young patients and pediatric healthcare services.
For those who missed Friday night's run, the Haunted Carwash reopens Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Families with younger children can take advantage of a sensory-friendly first hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. designed specifically for kids.
