Baton Rouge woman arrested for arson in connection with Sycamore Street house fire

BATON ROUGE — A 39-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a house fire on Sycamore Street, according to the Baton Rouge Fire Department.
Crews responded to the fire at about 9:53 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 4600 block of Sycamore Street. Firefighters arrived to find fire coming from the rear of the home.
The fire was contained to a bedroom at the back of the structure. Firefighters put out the fire and no injuries were reported.
BRFD investigators later developed information that led to an arrest in connection with the fire. The arrest was made Sept. 10 at Baton Rouge Police Department headquarters.
Isis Wright, 39, was transported and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
