Baton Rouge Food Tour
BATON ROUGE- The Baton Rouge Food Tour is a perfect way to explore restaurants and other attractions in the area. It gives groups the perfect taste of southern Louisiana cuisine and culture.
This morning the tour's founder, Kim Harper stopped by 2une In to tell us more about it.
The walking food tour winds throughout downtown Baton Rouge and samples dishes from different restaurants along the way.
“By the end of the tour you're going to be pleasantly full,” says Harper.
Dawson said she got the idea for the company while on a food tour in a different city.
“The whole time I was on the food tour I was thinking, we have the best food in the world,” said Harper. “I couldn't let the idea die.”
The tour is perfect for any occassion, you don't have to be from out of town to enjoy the local restaurants. Harper says that as the weather gets cooler the tour spots start filling up faster and faster.
