Baton Rouge fire crews respond to car fire at Jubans Restaurant on Perkins Road

BATON ROUGE — The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to a car fire at Jubans Restaurant and Bar along Perkins Road on Saturday night.
Firefighters arrived at the scene around 8 p.m. and extinguished the flames.
The cause of the fire originated in the engine compartment of the vehicle, fire officials said.
The owner of the vehicle allegedly parked the car before noticing smoke coming from the engine. The fire department was called as the vehicle became engulfed in flames.
