Baton Rouge church hosts concert fundraiser for Front Yard Bikes nonprofit

BATON ROUGE — University United Methodist Church hosted a concert fundraiser this evening to benefit Front Yard Bikes, a non-profit organization that mentors children of all ages.
The event featured music artists Clay Parker and Jodi James, a folk-rock band. Katie Love, one of the organizers, also hosted and opened the concert.
Those leading the event say they chose Front Yard Bikes to support because, like the music played at the concert, the organization brings people together for a good cause.
"We wanted to do the show as a big fundraiser, it was a no-brainer to pick this organization that is so involved in our community and is doing such great work," Love said.
