Ascension Parish Career and College Expo connects students with 100-plus employers and schools

GONZALES — A career and college expo is coming to the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center on Sept. 23, giving students in grades 8 through 12 a chance to explore options after high school.
The Ascension Public Schools Career & College Expo will connect students and parents from Ascension Parish public and private schools with more than 100 businesses, colleges and technical schools from across the state and beyond.
Fields represented at the event include agriculture, architecture, business, health sciences, IT and hospitality, among others.
The expo draws thousands of students and families each year.
