Ahead of LSU football debut, teenager hosts own College Gameday in shadow of Death Valley

BATON ROUGE - The 2026-27 LSU football season officially kicks off Saturday night under the leadership of head coach Lane Kiffin with a primetime game in Death Valley against Clemson.
LSU's campus will be crowded with thousands of fans starting as early as Friday night, with many making their way into the Quad to secure a spot for the College Gameday broadcast. This week's guest picker is Louisiana native and country music star Lainey Wilson.
Teenager Andrew Williams has been hosting his very own College Gameday shows since he was 6 years old, complete with his own desk in the style of the ESPN program just off LSU's campus.
Abigail Whitam spoke with Williams on Friday morning to see how he predicts the game will go. Williams predicts that No. 11 LSU will beat Clemson 27-18.
The LSU-Clemson game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday on Channel 2.
