2une In Previews: Live cooking concert coming to Manship Theatre

BATON ROUGE — The Manship Theatre is bringing together live music and cooking for a Concert Kitchen event on Sept. 13.
The afternoon starts at 2 p.m. with a live performance by Katie Love, followed by the Concert Kitchen featuring Chef Kevin Belton and John Papa Gros. An art reception is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The event takes place at the Manship Theatre in downtown Baton Rouge. Jason Langlois, Executive Director for the Manship Theatre, says this event is all about giving the audience a multi-sensory experience.
"We are uniquely positioned to pull this off," Langlois said. "Food and music are two of Louisiana's favorite things, and we're excited it's finally coming together."
