The coverage ran from early morning through late evening, featuring a range of stories tied to the community.

One of those stories took a look at Fluker's Cricket Farm, which grows more than just crickets and is marking a milestone anniversary.

All of it led up to one of the city's biggest events, the Oldies But Goodies Fest and Smoke Oldies Barbecue Cook-Off.

"It's a years worth of work for just a couple of days," said Dr. Andy Hollerman, former BCA president.

The event brought good food and competition to the city.
