Where to find free masks and PPE throughout capital area
Local governments and businesses around the Capital Area are distributing masks and PPE to several organizations as well as people who are most vulnerable.
Detailed below is a regularly updated list of locations where free masks are being distributed in south Louisiana.
Livingston
Livingston Parish officials will be distributing donated, high-quality, re-useable masks (masks that can be washed and reused) at locations throughout the area. Find the locations of the distribution centers here.
East Baton Rouge
The Division of Human Development and Services, Office of Social Services and EBRP Head Start Programs are collaborating to hold a free drive-thru mask distribution on Friday, May 8 as a part of Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome’s “Mask Up EBR” campaign.
East Baton Rouge Parish residents can pick up the masks from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at any of the six locations listed below:

Zachary
Beginning Friday, May 1st, a limited number of washable, cloth facemasks will be handed out free of charge at the Zachary Fire Station, located at 4525 Main Street.
Masks will be distributed via a drive-thru method on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 9 a.m. until supplies last.
The masks were donated to the City of Zachary by Metropolitan Councilman Trae Welch.
