ST. FRANCISVILLE — A man identified as the prime suspect in the disappearances of two women is being held without bond after a new charge in West Feliciana.

According to the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office, Thomas Morris was charged Sept. 29 with possessing stolen property after investigators found an excavator reported missing from the Baton Rouge Water Company on his acquaintance's property.

A judge revoked his $500,000 bond the next day. Morris allegedly took the machine, which is used for digging, when he worked for the water company.

The WBRZ Investigative Unit also learned that Morris is wanted on a rape charge out of Zachary, but no additional details were available.

Morris was arrested in West Feliciana in July on kidnapping charges and has been in jail since. He is the prime suspect in the disappearances of Madison Allen and Stephanie Hevia.

Last month, the sheriff's office and 12 other agencies searched the St. Francisville property where Morris lived for eight days. Investigators dug more than 20 areas and found only animal bones.

Detectives told Lynn Rollins, Allen's mother, that they recovered items of interest that could move the investigation forward.

"I was not given any specific items, but I was told multiple items were found and sent in to two different labs to be forensically tested," Rollins said.

Allen went missing in Zachary in 2023. She was last seen at his house in Zachary. Hevia has been missing since August of 2025, and family members say she was last seen with Morris in St. Francisville.
