UPDATE: Autopsy reports indicate no signs of trauma after two people were found dead inside an apartment building earlier this week.

Chief Deputy Bobby Webre says evidence reveals their deaths were a result of ongoing addictions.

PRAIRIEVILLE - Deputies are investigating after two people were found dead inside an Ascension Parish apartment building Monday.

The bodies were found at the Autumn View Apartments on Autumn View Drive sometime Monday afternoon. According to the sheriff's office, the two dead were identified as 50-year-old Rickey Foster and 56-year-old Connie Bolen, both from Prairieville.

The deaths were discovered after law enforcement was called to the apartment to check on the inhabitants. The sheriff's office says there was no sign of forced entry at the home and the cause of death is still unclear for both individuals.

The investigation is ongoing pending autopsy and toxicology reports.

Anyone who may have information on this case is urged to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-621-4636.
