The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office led the investigation on behalf of the Village of Tangipahoa Police Department and responded to reports of gunfire just after midnight on Tuesday in the 12000 block of Silo Road.

The man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. His identity has not yet been released and is pending an autopsy by the Tangipahoa Parish Coroner’s Office.
