BATON ROUGE - Cary and Tyler Koch went through almost a year of paperwork in order to bring their baby girl Isabelle home from her birthplace in Georgia. With a 10 hour car ride, The Koch's got into their vehicle knowing that it would be the last time it would be the two of them, but when they returned to Louisiana, they would be starting their new lives as parents to a new born baby.

The Koch family raised money for months in order fund their adoption process, which can run in excess of $40,000. Tyler painted hundreds of canvases and works of art and sold them online, every sell getting them closer to their goal.

But their journey starts not long after the couple was married. Like many newly weds they were asked when they were going to have a baby. After time had passed the couple discovered they fell into the same trouble one in eight couples struggle with, infertility.

Tyler says they weren't at peace with going through fertility treatments, and her and husband Cary decided that adoption was the route that was right for them.

"the whole adoption process prepares you for parenthood in a way, it's different cause you are sitting down with social worker and they are asking you question like what parenting styles do you think you are going to have, what values do you want to adopt from your childhood, like how your parents raised you " says Tyler.

The couple went through a service in Georgia, because of the network the organization was able to provide.

The couple is ready to adopt again, doing the same online fund raising campaign.

"If you have the desire to become a parent there is a way where you can figure that out" says Cary.
