NEW ORLEANS — Louisiana State Police has cancelled a Silver Alert for a 71-year-old man who was last seen along Haynes Boulevard in New Orleans after he was found safe.

According to LSP, the man was last seen along Haynes Boulevard on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. The New Orleans Police Department requested the Silver Alert around 4:55 p.m.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the Silver Alert was cancelled.
