BATON ROUGE — Both Southern University and LSU's home games were delayed by weather on Saturday afternoon.

The delay comes as storms move through the area, leading to lightning delays at both Southern University and LSU. 

LSU was originally scheduled to take on the Clemson Tigers at 6:30 p.m., with Southern scheduled to take on Kentucky State at 6 p.m.

Southern's game will now begin at 7:15 p.m., with the Jaguars being allowed to warm up on the field at 6:45 p.m.; however, further delays are possible.

LSU's game is currently expected to start at 8 p.m. at the earliest.
