BATON ROUGE - Southern edge rusher Ckelby Givens announces his return to the field for the 2026 season.

In a post on Instagram, Givens captioned a series of six photos and videos in his Southern football uniform with, "Let's get to it. Thank you Jesus!"

Givens was granted eligibility through an injunction for the high school athletes who graduated in 2022. Givens will use his fifth year of eligibility this season with the Jags.

Prior to this ruling, Givens took on a role as a graduate assistant with the Jags in the off season.
