Police identify 3 suspects in Baton Rouge murder

BATON ROUGE - Police in Baton Rouge are asking for the public's help to find three men accused in the shooting death of another man last month near a BREC park.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Alexander Brock, 23, Marcus Gillard, 28, and 19-year-old Dyshun Winns.

The three men are wanted for the shooting and killing of 23-year-old Darius Johnson on October 29.

According to police, Johnson got into a fight with four men at a park near North 31st St at North Acadian He was found dead in the backyard of his home.

The shooting at the park was caught on nearby surveillance video. It shows people running after shots were fired and even captured the moment Johnson was gunned down.

Police identified the suspects just hours after Johnson's family and friends held a pray vigil and released balloons in his memory Thursday night.

Anyone with information to help track down Brock, Gillard and Winns are asked to call the Baton Rouge Police department.
