One killed in Pointe Coupee Parish house fire on Sunday
JARREAU - One person was killed in a house fire in Jarreau on Sunday afternoon.
The Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office said that deputies and firefighters were called to a home along Woodview Lane around 3 p.m.
After putting out the fire, deputies said a body was found inside the home. The deceased's name has been released.
