BATON ROUGE — The Old Governor's Mansion hosted a free music concert on Friday for its Music at the Mansion event.

The event was held in honor of America's 250th birthday, with performers paying homage to American composers, according to Director of the Old Governor's Mansion Dr. Sinella Aghasi. 

The free concert included performances by trumpeter David Perkins accompanied by pianist Kristin Scioneaux.
