More than 50,000 cases of Horizon chocolate milk have been recalled due to potential spoilage
BATON ROUGE — More than 50,000 cases of Horizon Organic Dairy chocolate milk have been recalled, an FDA notice says.
According to the notice, 53,760 cases of the brand's 1%, 8oz cartons have been recalled, including 34,524 of the 12-count cases of the milk and 19,236 cases of the 18-count.
Twelve-count cases with best by dates of Jan. 28, 2027; Jan. 30, 2027; Jan. 31, 2027; Feb. 1, 2027; Feb. 2, 2027; and Feb. 3, 2027, are affected, as well as 18-count cases with best by dates of Jan. 31, 2027; Feb. 1, 2027 and Feb. 2, 2027.
The milk was recalled due to being potentially spoiled.
