BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sid Edwards has officially proclaimed Concrete Pipe Week in the city, following Gov. Jeff Landry's statewide proclamation of Concrete Pipe Week in Louisiana.

Edwards said the 10th anniversary of the 2016 flood is a powerful reminder of why drainage capacity, resilient materials and long-term stormwater infrastructure are so important to the community.
