Man wanted for breaking into N. Merchant Court business
BATON ROUGE – East Baton Rouge Sheriff's detectives are looking for a man suspected of breaking into a business on North Merchant Court and stealing several items.
According to EBRSO, detectives responded to an unauthorized entry at the Innovative Systems & Services, Inc. building located in the 6900 block of North Merchant Court. Detectives learned that the suspect drove his truck into the driveway and pried open the gate to the business. The suspect then entered the business yard and stole the following items:
- One Briggs & Stratton 5500 Watt red & black generator
- One orange ECHO weed eater
- Two black and silver Razor battery operated go carts
The suspect is described as having a beard and wore a hat, shorts and a"Travis James Entertainment" shirt with the letters "TJE" on the front at the time of the incident.
The truck the suspect was seen driving is a four-door Ford F250 FX4 model with a sun roof and large LSU tiger eye decal on the back window.
