Man suspected of killing woman in Sunday night shooting now in custody
BATON ROUGE - A man accused of shooting a woman who later died was arrested and booked for murder Wednesday night.
Baton Rouge Police Department said 37-year-old Daniel White shot 39-year-old Leticia Elliot during an argument around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on Jackson Avenue. Elliot died from her injuries on Monday.
On Tuesday, police said they were looking for White, who was considered armed and dangerous. Wednesday evening he was arrested and booked for second-degree murder.
