BATON ROUGE - A man was reportedly shot on Greenwell Springs Road sometime before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Baton Rouge Police, the victim was brought to a local hospital in a private vehicle around 8:30 p.m. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim said he was shot in the 5600 block of Greenwell Springs Road, according to BRPD.

The victim is suffering from non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting, according to BRPD.
