Man in custody following standoff on Wilmot Street
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Police say they arrested a man Friday evening after he refused to stop for officers before barricading himself in a home.
This happened at a home near the intersection of Wilmot Street and Conrad Drive. BRPD told News 2 officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the suspect continued driving before locking himself inside a home.

A News 2 Photographer was on the scene as the man surrendered to police. His identity was not available at the time of this post. Any charges he faces are unknown at this time.
