BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Art & Science Museum is calling for student submissions from across the state to be featured in an art gallery.

Students in grades sixth through 12 are invited to submit work for the 2027 LASM STEAM Gallery. The exhibition theme this year is FLOW, with students encouraged to explore movement, transformation, connection, rhythm and the ways people and natural systems interact and evolve.

The deadline to register is Nov. 13 and artwork submissions are due in February.

Selected artworks will remain on view in LASM’s STEAM Gallery from March 2027 through February 2028.

LASM accepts original artwork in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, multimedia, fabric and textile art, sculpture and three-dimensional models measuring up to 28 inches in each dimension.

Students interested in participating can register here.
