Lafayette airport temporarily evacuated due to fire alarm
LAFAYETTE – The Lafayette Regional Airport was temporarily evacuated due to a fire alarm on Saturday afternoon.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office said that a fire alarm went off the airport and caused the evacuation, KATC reports.
However, no fire was found at the airport and it was considered a false alarm.
No further details have been released at the time of this post.
