BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry has announced the recipients of its Louisiana Business Excellence Awards.

The awards feature nine honors this year, including a new Executive of the Year award.

Eddie Rispone of ISC Constructors received the Ed Steimel Achievement Award, which honors long-standing membership and service to LABI and recognizes individuals who have committed extraordinary time and effort to improve the quality of life in Louisiana.

The Free Enterprise Champions Awards went to Ray Lasseigne of TMR Exploration as Businessperson of the Year and Lauren Gibbs of Gibbs Construction as Young Businessperson of the Year.

DDG took home the Large Company of the Year award for companies with more than 100 employees, and VGraham won Company of the Year for companies with fewer than 100 employees.

Stuller was named Manufacturer of the Year. The Louisiana Parole Project received the Workforce Innovator of the Year Award.

The Ascension Chamber of Commerce was recognized as Economic Development Partner of the Year.

Phillip May of Entergy Louisiana received the newly introduced Executive of the Year Award.

The honorees will be recognized at LABI's Louisiana Business Excellence Awards Luncheon, presented by b1BANK, at noon on Nov. 17 at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel. Tables and individual tickets for the luncheon are available through LABI.
