BATON ROUGE - Crews were to the scene of a house fire early Monday morning.

The fire was reported just before 3 a.m. in the 800 block of Education Street. At the scene, firefighters found the house engulfed in flames. The fire was brought under control at 3:19 a.m. Authorities say the house was vacant. 

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Authorities say the house is a total loss.
