BATON ROUGE — District Attorney Hillar Moore is set to keep his office for the next six years after defeating challenger Ryan Thompson at the polls. 

Thompson was Moore's first challenger or 19th JDC DA since 2008; Moore received 57% of the vote with 12 precincts left to report, complete but unofficial results say.
