NEW YORK — Former LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been released by the New York Giants, ESPN reported Tuesday.

Beckham, a Louisiana native who played at LSU from 2011 to 2013, was initially drafted by the Giants in 2014, and he played for them until 2018.

After this, he bounced around various teams, including stints at the Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins, before returning to the Giants in 2026. 

During the first three games of the 2026-27 season, 33-year-old Beckham only logged one target. 

The three-time Pro Bowler still holds the second-highest number of receiving yards in Giants history, recording a career total of 7,987 yards and 59 receiving touchdowns.
