ST. GABRIEL — Iberville Parish deputies arrested an Elayn Hunt Correctional Center employee for allegedly talking to an inmate over the phone.

Sheriff Brett Stassi said Shunnikquer Goulden, 24, of Baker, communicated with the inmate and failed to report the contraband phone.

She was booked into the Iberville Parish Jail on a malfeasance in office charge.
