GREENSBURG - A crash survivor is searching for a man who he claims saved his life.

Matthew Kyzar, 29, was involved in a single vehicle accident after losing control of his car.

"My back tire on my Acura TL blew out and it threw me sideways and when it threw me sideways I hit the ditch. And I guess the back of the car went airborne and the car tumbled and flipped four times," Kyzar said.

State Police investigated the single vehicle accident on Highway 43 north of Greensburg, LA Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m.

He says a passing driver pulled over, dragged him from the car, and gave him CPR.

"He was a tall buff black guy with a shaved head, about early 40's or so. I mean that's all I can remember. He was in a white single cab Chevy Silverado truck," Kyzar said.

Now, he's looking for the man he says saved his life. His friend posted a message on Facebook with pictures of the scene pleading with anyone with any information on this anonymous person.

"I would tell him thank you so much for saving my life and that if he would reach out to me I would take care of him," Kyzar said.
