BATON ROUGE- Andrew Knott has always had a passion for science and next month he'll get to showcase his talent on an international level. He's one of just five students in America going to the Mostratec Brazilian Science and Technology Fair.

The event will feature 376 projects made by 760 students from 21 countries around the world.

The project Andrew is bringing studies which geometric pattern of cell phone towers gets full cell coverage, while deploying the fewest number of towers.

Andrew's teacher, Elkhan Akhundo, says the project reflects some of his personality.

"Andrew is a very energetic person and that shows in his presentation," says Akhundov. "He has some good math skills and his project is on math, so I think these two things will seriously stick out in his presentation."

Andrew says he is going into the competition with excitement, but also determination.

We salute you Andrew, for making your school really cool.
