BATON ROUGE - Police are looking for numerous people involved in an early-morning melee at a local Waffle House.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the altercation happened March 22, around 4 a.m., at the Waffle House on College Drive.

Police say surveillance video from the business captured parts of the brawl, which involved 10-12 female aggressors jumping five female victims. A man was also seen stealing items from a victim's purse during the fight. Photos released by BRPD show what appear to be eight of the suspects.

Police say the motive for the attack is unclear, but they believe the attackers live in the Scotlandville/Banks area.
