BATON ROUGE — The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested five people on drug dealing charges after raiding a home along Sherwood Street. 

According to police, officers executed a search warrant on Wednesday and seized fentanyl, synthetic marijuana, pressed fentanyl pills and cash.

BRPD arrested the following people on possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia charges:

- David Catherine Sr., 42
- Dexter Collins, 46
- Trumaine Bush, 42
- James Hill, 35
- Carl Alexander, 34

Collins, Bush, Hill and Alexander were also arrested for allegedly resisting arrest.

All five men have criminal records, including Hill, who has an active, non-extraditable warrant on drug charges in Florida.
