BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge General is partnering with the YMCA to host a series of flu shot administration events across the Capital Area.

Flu shots are recommended by the end of October to ensure protection throughout the influenza season, BRG says. 

Flu shots will be available for free with most insurance at the events, but non-insurance payment options are also available.

Monday, Oct. 5, 8-11 a.m.
A.C. Lewis YMCA, 350 South Foster Drive, Baton Rouge

Tuesday, Oct. 6, 8-11 a.m.
Dow Westside YMCA, 3688 Sugar Plantation Parkway, Addis

Monday, Oct. 12, 8-11 a.m.:
Paula G. Manship YMCA, 8100 YMCA Plaza Drive, Baton Rouge

Tuesday, Oct. 13, 8-11 a.m.:
ExxonMobil YMCA, 7717 Howell Boulevard, Baton Rouge

BRG asks that those looking to attend the events bring a valid photo ID and insurance card.
