BATON ROUGE - The inland waterways in Ascension Parish will reopen Friday at midnight.
Parish President Kenny Matassa says the waterways were previously closed due to high water and debris.
Officials in Livingston Parish initially said their waterways would reopen Friday as well, however that decision was soon reversed.
