BATON ROUGE – Police say they have arrested a man who was wanted for the shooting death of a man at a tire shop on Plank Road in November.

According to Baton Rouge Police, 21-year-old Curtis Lee Brown was arrested Thursday in Dallas, Texas for the shooting death of Jonathan Sam on Nov.10. According to BRPD, Sam was found shot to death near G&T Tires at the corner of Plank Road and Erie, where he worked.

Detectives believed that Sam was shot after trying to intervene while a customer of the shop was being robbed.

Police say Brown will be extradited back to Baton Rouge and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for first degree murder and armed robbery.
