The screenings, provided by the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, tested for skin and prostate cancer, as well as providing take-home colon cancer testing kits. All screenings are conducted privately inside the Mary Bird Perkins Mobile Unit.

Teche Health was also at the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to give free blood-pressure checks.
