Police: Two drown after hopping fence to pool
BATON ROUGE - Brandy Prater lives just feet from where Anton Joe, 25, and Ishita Maity, 28, were found unresponsive.
It happened at Cambridge West apartments in Tigerland, early Sunday morning.
"It was pretty scary to open my door and see this. I thought I was about to come out and walk around the corner and see what was going on, not knowing that it was right in front my door," said Prater.
Joe lived at the apartment complex and Maity lived at one down the street.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said as of now, there are "no obvious signs of foul play."
