DENHAM SPRINGS - Murder suspect Thomas Fefee was arrested at an apartment complex in Florida on Monday and returned to Louisiana Saturday morning where he faces charge for a deadly shooting in Livingston Parish.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Tampa assisted in Fefee's arrest. He was arrested without incident around 5:05 p.m. Monday, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office.

Fefee was wanted for first degree murder and armed robbery after he shot and killed a man in Denham Springs on Jan. 18.

Fefee has been connected to a gun battle with Baton Rouge Police, too, that happened a few years ago.  Read more about the Baton Rouge altercation HERE.

Original story:

A Denham Springs man is wanted for murder and armed robbery charges after an incident Wednesday night off Monroe Perkins Road.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard says 26-year-old Thomas Fefee is wanted for first degree murder and armed robbery after he shot and killed Corey Graham Wednesday.

Witnesses told deputies someone in a car fired at least five shots from the vehicle, one of those striking Graham in the neck. Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ard described Fefee as 5’11” and weighing 155 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Fefee also has numerous tattoos on his upper torso.

Deputies say Fefee was last seen driving a white medium-sized car. At this time, there is no other information about the vehicle. A source close to the investigation tells News 2 that deputies are searching for a white Toyota Camry.

Ard said Fefee should be considered armed and dangerous and extreme caution should be used if coming into contact with him.

The investigation into Wednesday’s shooting is still ongoing.
