BATON ROUGE - Firefighters are working a large warehouse fire on the 12000 block of South Choctaw Drive.

Around 3:30 a.m., Baton Rouge Fire Department was notified about flames shooting out of the roof of the building at 12421 South Choctaw Drive.

Fire crews are having a tough time getting to the scene because of high water throughout Belaire, but crews are spraying water on the structure from a distance.

It's unclear how the fire started. The location is a couple of blocks north of Belaire High School.
