CENTRAL - A home was destroyed by a massive fire overnight.

The Central Fire Department posted pictures and video on Facebook of the blaze.  When firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, they found flames pouring from the roof.  The fire had already burned most of the roof and flames were eating away at other parts of the home.

Firefighters had to call for help.  Eventually, Central, East Side and District Six fire departments were on scene.  So many Central firefighters responded, Zachary helped cover a fire house in Central until the blaze was contained.

By the time the fire was out, there wasn't much left of the home in the 7500 block of Conestoga - a neighborhood near the intersection of Joor and Lovett.

There were no injuries.  The fire department has not said what caused the inferno.
