BATON ROUGE - A vehicle crashed a child's birthday party Saturday afternoon.

It plowed into a home on Oaklan Drive near Plank Road around 1 p.m. where the party was happening.

Police say a ten-year-old girl suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle told News 2 she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake.
