BAKER - Three juveniles are facing criminal charges after they allegedly started a fire at Baker High School over the weekend.

Authorities were called to the scene shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

On Sunday, Baker Fire Chief Christopher Hunt told WBRZ that three juveniles were in custody in connection to the suspected arson at Baker High. It was later confirmed that the three juveniles would be charged with arson and trespassing. Two of three charged were 11 years old, and the third was 13.

Officials say the fire was contained to one building, which was still being renovated due to the August 2016 flood. Officials also noted that the school is currently vacant, with classes being at a different, nearby campus.

No injuries were reported.

Six different agencies assisted in the fire-fighting effort.
