BATON ROUGE – Although LSU lost to Florida in a close finish, fans did not deter from their game rituals.

The game against Florida marked the last LSU home game of the season and for some it was a time to reminisce.

For one couple, Stuart and Joanie Wren, they not only found love for one another on LSU's campus, but also for the Tigers.

"Every time we come back it's just nostalgic," Joanie Wren said.

"We just love our Tigers, and we can't believe how long it's been since we went here," she said.

It has been 38 years since the two graduated from LSU.

"Well, we met back in the 1974 here at the LSU, got married a few years after that, and we been coming to LSU games ever since, got season tickets," Stuart Wren said.

Food traditions also run deep amongst fans and on Saturday a special kind of Tiger Bait found its way on many tailgate menus.

"Rotisserie alligator I guess you could say, with an apple glaze," fan Corey Landry said.

"The Florida fans love it just as much as the LSU fans, and it tastes good," fan Wayne Knight said.

With just about every group of tail gaters there lies a different story about their time spent at Death Valley.

"We've been here for how many years? Twenty years! So we're just always stop by, grab some food, and have some drinks," fan Ronnie Breaux said.

LSU faces Texas A & M on Nov. 24 at Kyle Field. Kick off is for 6:30 p.m.
