BATON ROUGE - Regions Bank is now offering financial services to  Louisiana and Mississippi residents who are recovering from the recent flooding and severe weather.

Financial services include personal and business loan payment deferrals, unsecured personal lines of credit to help with flood recovery, and penalty-free withdrawals.

Louisiana and Mississippi residents interested in the offers can visit a local Regions branch from Mar. 21 to Apr. 30 to sign up and receive details related to their needs.

Danny Montelaro, area Presidents for Regions Bank in South Louisiana, said that he wants to help make the recovery process for residents easier.

“Several communities have been overwhelmed by flood waters, and many homeowners and businesses are facing a long road to recovery. By providing this assistance, we hope we can help make the recovery easier,” Montelaro said.

Most Regions branches in Louisiana and Mississippi are open or re-opened following the floods. The only branch that remains temporarily closed in the Homer, LA branch and the company is working to reopen the branch.

Residents who use the Homer branch are advised to visit other branches in surrounding communities.
